STEFTI Performances Welcome DSPC Delegates
TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines— Multiple organizations from the St. Therese Educational Foundation of Tacloban City, Inc. (STEFTI) performed for campus journalists during the opening of the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) on September 10, 2026.
Held at the Perlita Ramo-Abesamis (PRA) Campus 1, the venue came alive with a showcase of rhythm, melody, and grace featuring the STEFTI Blue Royals, the STEFTI Dance Company, and the STEFTI Youth Choir.
Delegates and competing schools from Districts 1 to 10 filled the venue, witnessing the energetic presentations of the performing groups, which earned wide applause and praise from the packed audience.
The warm welcome set the tone for the journalists who will compete throughout the three-day event.
After the performances, Department of Education (DepEd) officials continued the program with speeches from several officials and guests.
Right after the ceremony, delegates in the individual categories headed to their assigned rooms to prepare for the writing competitions ahead.
The STEFTI performances concluded the opening ceremony with liveliness and joy, showcasing the school’s talent in arts and culture while welcoming journalists from across the division.
